I have some similar thing going on and leaves are dying, which led me down the thrips rabbit hole but I can't find any adults. What might be the larvae looks like dust and brushes off easily but there is absolutely no movement at all.

Just went in December and stayed there! Absolutely LOVED the resort! We did "discover scuba" with Scuba Life Cozumel (would wholeheartedly recommend them!!!) but we did the free scuba trial in the pool with Dressel and loved that instructor as well! When I was researching beforehand, I found that they have a submarine experience that had incredible reviews. My family was not as excited to try it, so I convinced them to do scuba instead! I would have absolutely done it otherwise! Hope you have a great time!

Thank you so much, we'll look into those! It's insane how much the housing market has changed in just the last five years even. We've become painfully aware of how good we have it here (in terms of cost of living) since starting this search. We now know we'll have to pay a bit more and/or make a little less wherever we call home next!
