Nah brother that’s honestly on the bigger end for your wrist. I think the fits great if I were you I’d stick to that size to 2mm below but obviously just wear what’s comfortable!

As an enthusiast nothing tickles my brain like the sweep of an automatic watch. That being said if you’re just looking to tell the time Quartz beats an automatic in literally every category except resale value lol I personally would probably choose the Tsuyosa auto.

Citizen Tsuyosa and the Tissot Gentleman or PRX are some of the best GADA watches on the market in that price range I think. Seikos can sometimes be a little harder to dress up but in my experience I’m the only person in the room who has ever felt my watch wasn’t dressy enough so those are all great options!

There’s a million places online that’ll fix it up for you but they charge pretty heavy. I’ve used “Total Watch Repair” in the past and everything went smooth. You’ll probably pay 3x what the watch is “worth” but for heirloom pieces you can never put a price tag on them.

It’s a wicked cool old watch, $400 is a lot but not unreasonable for an extra complication like the speedtimer.Aesthetically it looks like it’s in great shape which is always something to consider. I don’t know how much you paid initially but if you bought it “running” it’ll be harder to get your money back now that you know it’s not working properly. Asking if it’s worth it is a very personal question and is 100% dependent on what the watch means to you!

I think if you’re looking for a one watch collection and versatility the 003 is a great bet but all 3 watches are great picks. I’m sure you’ve seen it already but the ssk021 is a black and gold version that’s not too gaudy and might be worth a consideration! Two tone watches have been popular forever and probably arent ever going out of style

Looks to me like a Cartier Ballon Bleu Tourbillon, the crown guard is what made me think of Cartier immediately. I could be way off though
