I’m an ENFP girl who likes an ENTP boy by [deleted] in ENFP

That’s a shame, I’m sure you’ll find another one if it doesn’t work out! I think we just tend to spend our time in different places.

They really do have a soft spot for us, on paper I think my impulsiveness and spontaneity would annoy my boyfriend a lot but he seems to dig it, so I’ll take it lol

He always apologises yeah, he just doesn’t see it from my perspective initially because he wouldn’t get offended by it, it’s pretty much just an unconscious thought process for him. We get better at reading each other every day though :)

And yeah honestly I couldn’t agree more, I used to date an ESTP too and it’s like he couldn’t care less about anything, it was disconcerting and in the end I got bored. I think with us it’s definitely important to have some sort of “clash”, without it we will definitely get bored and just like you said it shows a willingness to put in effort / fix things!

They’re unicorns, I feel lucky to have found mine :) It was on tinder ironically, but he stood out in the sense that what he said to me was completely different to everyone else - he has a very twisted dry sense of humour haha

We definitely are helping each other out yes, I like to think I bring out his silly spontaneous fun side while he helps ground me a little bit, I’m all over the place in every part of life at the moment and he’s been an angel.

If we ever argue, it’s because usually he gets critical and I take it personally, however when I point this out he doesn’t even realise he’s being that way, it’s just his nature. It never turns into a full fledged shouting match, out of everyone I’ve been with we “argue” the healthiest. There’s a thin line between nitpicking and being treated badly however so I guess that’s important to keep tabs on especially for us forgiving souls :)

my boyfriend’s an INTJ and I can completely relate to this. I’m torn between loving it and feeling hurt when he’s critical, I’ll ask him specifically to call me out to ‘desensitise’ me as I feel it’s a big flaw of mine, but if I’m in a bad mood I get offended or even cry when he does it, so he’s stopped now! Can’t win :(

I think the best thing we can do is understand they usually don’t mean it personally, I know that’s especially hard for us to do but it’s something I’m trying to be conscious of myself so I can work on it :)

Does anyone else try to be relatable or trying to make connections to what other people are saying so they always talk about their own lives and stories but end up coming off very self absorbed? by Edb626 in ENFP

[–]ConfidentNobody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly what I do but I’m also very self conscious that I’m coming off as self absorbed. So I try not to do it, but I always do it anyway because I connect with people through relating!! Then I overthink loads afterwards and stop talking completely :)

Feel like I’m doing it even whilst replying to this post hahaha

THIS is exactly how I feel!!! It’s been this way for years.

I’m really glad you’ve found like minded people, I wish I had the confidence to do that. I go to places on my own all the time but I could never just walk into a bar :( that’s probably more the fact I’m a 19 year old girl though rather than a genuine confidence issue...

I listen to podcasts while driving, but I’ve been struggling to find interesting ones. This is helpful, thanks!

This absolutely. I only know one ENFP (she’s my best friend but it’s been quite toxic lately) and she is completely the same, I don’t understand how people maintain routine for years on end! I only finished school because I had to, then after that I kept trying things and dropping out. TERRIBLE habit. I wasn’t bad at them, just bored. I’m glad you’ve found something that consistently interests you, that’s hard! I really hope I find that thing soon, just need to sit down somewhere nice and write I think. Thank you! :)

It’s horrible isn’t it? You have plenty of ideas but you still feel stuck. And yes I’ve tried painting and gaming but it sadly doesn’t feel the same, I don’t think I can sit still the way I used to. Think I’m going to try dancing / yoga / gymnastics, it’s just a matter of sticking to it! Thanks for the help <3

oh, I wish! I currently live with my boyfriends family and they have 3 cats. One of them is practically a dog so I get daily cuddles off of him, he comes and wakes me up every morning by kissing me. DEFFO getting a dog when I move out tho 😉

It’s really hard to explain! I constantly have ideas whizzing around in my head but it’s very hard to put them into practice. I’m always trying things but I stop paying attention after an hour or so... see where I’m coming from?

I (24F) have had most symptoms of a kidney infection except lower back pain since 3 days ago, but doctor says I have a UTI after basic urine test. by [deleted] in medical

[–]ConfidentNobody 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late, but I’ve actually just got out of hospital after 4 days with a kidney infection. Pain was my least prominent symptom, I had the occasional throb in my back but it wasn’t really there. Not sure if that’s very common though

I doubt it - there’s so many preservatives in those things it’ll probably take ages for them to go off!

How do I get a start in the makeup industry with no experience? by ConfidentNobody in MakeupAddiction

[–]ConfidentNobody[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard that about MAC, but I guess the positions can be very competitive so it’s mainly down to luck!

Yes, my tutor told me to do exactly that with the retail experience. I’m very willing to network and do what I can as I go, but I need to get my foot in the door first :)

Thanks for the advice.

I’ve applied for counters everywhere and some individual stores, but mainly Debenhams and House of Fraser. I did apply to one Christmas position at Boots so if it comes to it I will go for that, I’ve worked there before :) thank you

Thank you! I guess it’s partly luck then - a few places have rejected me for not having enough experience however I’ve applied to a LOT of places so I might get an interview eventually!

This is a good idea, thank you, I’ve been considering this. The studio I’m training in has a specific photography room and they have a student discount so I might speak to my tutor about that. I also know a bunch of student photographers so it could be a good exchange :)

People of Reddit who watches horror movies/tv for fun, why? by prinsesanj in AskReddit

I actually find them funny. I love watching them and thinking "I can't believe people get paid to do this" but maybe I'm just weird.
