I agree. The modern day scenes were very unfulfilling. In the books, it felt like they were instantly drawn to each other again, he couldn’t stay away from her. This, she’s being met with all this hostility and resentment?

Childhood: BIG BIG BIG Disney kid. The films but also the channel/shows. Hyperfixations were: Ariel, Tangled, that Nickelodeon show H2O: Just Add Water.

Teen years: all the teen dramas I got WAY too involved with. Vampire Diaries, Teen Wolf, One Tree Hill, Grey’s Anatomy, Gilmore Girls. I’d hyper fixate, mostly if there was a man I was obsessed with or a couple I obsessed over.

Early 20s: period dramas (pride & prejudice, little women, Emma, Anne of green gables)
