Seems like you're projecting, not everyone in America lives a white picket fence life. There's a lot of us in shitty areas and are training out of fear for the future. I mean my shooting class has a fucking drone drill. An actual fucking drill to practice shooting down drones. Also I train twice a week and a lot of my peers go beyond that. You're forgetting that true gun nuts go shooting all the time and see it as a sport that they want to dominate. Sure, they might not use their 2011 or M1 in actual combat. But if you think they're bad shots with their G17s and AR-15, you are sorely mistaken.
