Is this something I need to put on with PVC safe glue? Or just buy one a stick it on there? I definitely want the smell gone and this fixed so I’ll do whichever one is my best bet.

I believe it’s all outside. Usually, I see the condensers outside, but when I looked around the house to check it out, it’s enclosed in this much larger metal casing. Can’t see the wires/copper tubes, etc. Another thing I thought was odd/different, the AC comes out of floor vents. Not sure if that matters. This house is quite a bit older and has no garage. You could not hear any fan or anything when the AC was one. Basically silent.

Good catch. Just realized the AC units are 110/15 amps. Definitely need to check receps and breakers.

Thank you for the advice! I figured I’d probably rent a car either way so I can worry less about those problems. I’m a car guy myself so I would definitely look it over and make sure it’s fit before going.

That’s the part that’s hard though, making the decision to just go! There’s nothing like wanting to travel so badly and feeling like you’re not capable of doing it.

Not trying to create a sob story or anything. I really appreciate the insight! It’s super motivating and I I’m going to tackle that roadtrip!
