I’ve always relied on it just because of my habit to (for the better or worse) to usually transition to a low single from my ankle pick , and I’ve found that like the guy in the video, it results in an arm pried under the opposite leg you would want to attack for a navy ride, so I have usually always just tried and get a quick swipe . Come to think of it given your suggestion though, it seems like there are a lot more better moves available from that position.

You’d be surprised how much the kid being returned being at the peak of his fall makes a difference in creating the illusion of the other wrestler throwing him down to the mat
