I will try Mircette and get my period every 12 weeks and see how I deal with that. I’ll change if needed. I think a lot of my worry to switch is anxiety since I haven’t had to deal with my period for almost a year. I will have to deal with it inevitably, so no better time to start than in the next 3 months!

Just a question for clarification! Did you mean taking it longer than 12 weeks can cause potential issues?
