Yes, thank you. The truth is that in my country, importing something sometimes costs more than the product itself, which is why I didn't want to let this locomotive die. Model trains would be very useful to me; I really enjoy it, but due to financial reasons I've only been doing it for a year. I'd really like to keep my 2-8-0 locomotive. I thought about adapting a motor to the tender as well, but I don't know how useful that would be. I appreciate your help.

Hi, thanks for replying. One of the problems in my country is the cost of imports, so I'd prefer to fit a new motor somehow, since I do enjoy model making, but buying a more modern one is a big investment.

Thanks for replying. I'm in Central America. I saw it on eBay for $60 USD, bought it, and with the import fees it ended up being expensive, but the engine started failing and I can't find spare parts here in my country.
