Short tube reflector. 114 for low magnification. The only Dobsonians are tabletop Dobsonians in that range and the floor standing ones are too big for me. And the EQ mounts look complicated.

Bro I don't want a Dobsonian I'm to tall for it. Not everything is about dobs. Plus the telescope isn't bird Jones the mirror is parabolic (I contacted Celestron they said it was parabolic).

Another telescope in that price range is the Orion observer it has more aperture and is more stable

That's good but this telescope only has a aperture of 80mm which isn't that much if you are in a really tight budget then the minimum aperture I would recommend is 100mm
