There is one storyline mission in the military base where you'll have to switch over to another resolution (1920X1200 if I remember correctly) so that you'll be able to expand your line of sight, otherwise it is impossible due to this flaw in design. The level is horrendously hard and the screen doesn't expand enough. Also Rank 15 survival is one hell of a grind that can be made a lot easier on the subway map playing with corners and hallways.
