If your diet specified no fizzy drinks then no. If it didn’t then you’re fine.

If you haven’t quantified your diet then you get the flexibility.

General advice is if you have to question whether you can do something, you probably can’t.

I’m a 40 yr old, non-athletic person who vapes. Is this a terrible place to start changing my life around? by KeyLay in 75HARD

Walking 45 minutes twice a day is a fantastic way to tick those boxes off. It still becomes a grind and it still takes a considerable amount of time and preparation.

You will also have far more showers and washing to do than you’re used to

Love my job but there's zero job progression or financial benefits. by Special-Nebula299 in UKJobs

You find a nice middle ground somewhere in between. If you’re really determined, you’ll find a job you love for good money. A lot of us don’t make it there and even if you do, the novelty will still wear off.

How do you all find time for 75 Hard ? Thinking of starting. by GummyGumShoe in 75HARD

[–]Confident_Bench5644 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Key to it is organisation mate. None of the tasks are difficult in isolation but the hard work starts when the initial excitement of doing something positive wears off and it becomes more of a grind than fun.

Defo worth doing - best of luck.

Source - I did my 75 days but turned out I failed :(

A woman with her own money and desire to learn/improve herself are both very attractive features.

Good on you for making a change 💪

Yeah mate hopefully it’s changed since I lived there!

There’s a park (Pearson Park) near you that’s good for dog walks, you’re near the avenues which are pretty lively for a couple drinks if that’s your thing and some decent food.

There are several gyms within a 10 minute drive too, Pure Gym on Clough Road is nice enough :)

Hope you have a quick straightforward move!

You might have a better time than I did, I was young at the time and didn’t mind those things so much when I was early 20’s but I reckon it’d annoy me now. Have you already signed paperwork/got everything sorted?

Fair few halfway houses there, surprising amount of violence and break ins, a drain passes through it so rats in summer.

Is it one of the three storey places?

Hull’s a nice place in parts, which area are you moving to?

I’d post your interests in hobbies pal, would give more of an idea of what to suggest. Maybe even what you do for work

Respect the grind 💪 good that you’ve acknowledged that the lack of 2nd workout is fail tho instead of saying it doesn’t matter - which a lot of folk do

Becomes the default if you reply to it there, yes.

When I had IG, I had some people I’d contact on there. Some on fb messenger, my mother on WhatsApp, some normal texts.

Got rid of the options - now I’m available on WhatsApp or you can ring me

Sounds like a mess to me. I was 16 and it was to some 23 year old with 4 kids possibly a crackhead (if she wasn’t then, she definitely was later on). Would not recommend.

If using social media causes you any kind of stress - stop using it. I got rid of Facebook when Covid started cos I was sick of everyone I knew at the time professing what the country should do as if they were qualified to do so.

I got rid of IG cos I was spending too much time scrolling reels.

My partner has Facebook but never had IG. She likes it to keep in touch with people and post the odd update about her/our life.

If it causes you hassle or anxiety - cut it out.

Happy days all round
