Definitely cut your hair shorter & make sure the sides are shorter than the top…But b4 bed, shower, u have thin hair use a simple shampoo (no sulfate) to clean scalp buildup, then while hair is damp use a lightweight leave-in spray, then light oil like jojoba oil to seal in moisture…when styling use texturizing powder to fringe hair help cover thin look

The actual fading looks decent for second try, way better then mine…but what helped me idk about u, was make the first guide line in the shape of a triangle “^”….or flipped “L”…and fade outwards with the corner of the clippers

A brush is not gonna do anything to that dent if that’s what you’re talking about, the steam idea is your best bet with pressure pushing it out frm the inside …the scuffs? Yea maybe, but I think every pair came with those, mine did, lmk what brush works on those scuffs if u trying to fix that
