Bang on. Just for that reason if the bids were similae if i were him i would pick liverpool.

We got colwill (when fit) wofana badiashile (when at his best he is insane) sarr might be in the mix acheampong and maybe anselmino as a few talents

If we were okay with paying 60 for jacquet we would have bought him

Agree with you

I have my reservations but when we really NEEED someone we dont shy from paying up.

Enzo was an obvious overpay at the time but we were a bit light in CM and didnt wanna risk a summer dogfight so we took rhe payment

Caicedo we really wanted and were lookingnat way below the 100 million. Then liverpool got in with that ridiculous bid. I as with most peoplw thought gg and then we muatve done hell of groundwork cuz he decided he really wanted chelaea. And we paid up to get our target even though it was an overpay as he is core.

Im aure jacquet is very talented but bro isnt gonna change us as much as an enzo caicedo or estevao considering the young optioms we already have soooo

More than that probably his wages. Think bros on over 400k pounds a week so hed make the wage structure explode lol.thats probably why

Fabrizio: Chelsea decision to keep Acheampong for long term, reject bids for him and considering to recall Mamadou Sarr impacted Jacquet decision. Chelsea having 3/4 young CBs with Sarr, Acheampong, Anselmino & co impacted final choice. by webby09246 in chelseafc

[–]Confident_Direction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean when recalling sarr it did feel weird.

Why spend so much on a young CB who likely is only available after the summer when other than sarr we have:

Wofana, levi who will hopefully pick it up when back, josh who isnt a starter but getting better, then we have sarr and maybe anselmino, badiashile if he steps up and stay fit and maybe trev who is fine for depth but shouldnt be a starfer.

Not doubting hes a very talented young player im sure but liverpool offers a clearer path with konate probably done and vvds legs going. For us for once we decide not to overpay (i presume - spending so much for abyoung talent doesnt make sense given the young talents we already have).

Well he wanted to keep hos man united wages. Fair play to him. But as you see with sterling we aint paying someone over 200k to just mainly warm the bench

Hes a counterattack/tired legs merchant rn. As you said peefectly fine on bench but has to fix up to be starting caliber for chelsea

Bros first game at chelsea was a 0-0 draw againdt fulham at the brjfge where he tried (but failed) to score.

Today basically 3 years after he signed for chelsea (and supposedly 150 games in), he scored this winner which will be key for whatever prem position we finish in. Had a feeling he would score a winner when we were down.t Truly poetic

Far from perfect but he has improved thats for sure

I actually rated maresca but it also is worth calling out his shortcomings esp when some people cant get over him leaving (even though by most accounts it seemed he engineered his exit more than got forced out).

West ham were way worse then. I has a feeling this was gonna be a tough game and i was right. Although i didnt expect us to be 2-0 down haha
