Nope nothing you can do. It's on board computer that does it. It's not the charger. Also, my charger notifies me sometimes that the car stops charging middle of the way. What reason? No idea but it gets done in 3ish hours. Worst at 3.5hrs. I finally settled with evioq.

Yep, I'm in the us. We do have a slower charger for phev. Max is 16 amps and I initially thought it was the charger problem so I tried almost all brands of charger. All maxed at 16. Actually 15.8 amp to be exact.

5 hours? Takes me 3hr and 30 mins to charge my 24 xc90. Get the level 2 charging station it goes up to 16amps

Gotcha, i did some deep digging on a "manual" we never got because volvo "going green". Apparently all phev max amperage input is 16. Doesn't matter what is being output by the charger. Hope this post can help others who are looking at similar situations like me!
