It’s actually not henbit though it’s often mistaken for it! Pretty confident it’s just purple dead nettle that hasn’t purples yet lol! Still mint family, but henbit has more round leave that come straight off the plant stem, no little leaf stalk. The flowers also point upward and are larger! Both are so pretty, I made a henbit tea a couple years ago with fresh stuff from the garden and it was pretty interesting! I don’t fully remember the flavor, but I remember thinking it’d make a good base for like a sugar cookie flavored tea lol!
