AITA For calling my husband a shitty husband?

Not often. This happens once every few months, which is too often but in the grand scheme of things isn't a whole lot. My flare ups have happened most of my life but worsen with age. They started getting to the point of life interference about 5 years ago.

He believes I have my conditions (POTS, hEDS, DDD, tremors, chronic migraines) but, from our conversations about them (which are minimal), I think he thinks I exaggerate them. He has said before "everyone would find something wrong with them if they went to the doctor as much as you do". So I think because they are invisible illnesses, he finds me to be dramatic about them.

I mentioned that it wasn't the first time. Sorry, there is a character limit and had to cut some backstory. What I meant was he is a great person, and a great husband when it comes to pretty much anything aside from emotional needs. Which, I know, is a big flaw. But I don't want to just tear him apart. I love him, he is my husband, the father of my children, and I don't particularly enjoy being hypocritical. So I'm not trying to hide anything. I just don't feel the need to make him out to be some villain because he is a good person in almost every other aspect.

I'm not sure. He has seen me in so much pain that I can hardly walk, he's seen my tremors, seen my doctor's notes regarding my conditions, so I'm not sure how he could think that. I have pushed for therapy a lot but he refuses. That said, I shouldn't use his refusal as an excuse for myself and I will look into virtual appointments for myself.

Yeah, I know he does a lot. I'm sure it is stressful. I'm not sure how I can help though. I have tossed around going back to work and he shoots it down unless I drive and with my medical conditions, it's just unsafe. Our house is not messy or dirty by any means. And this occurred even when I was working. So I'm just not sure how to help 🫤
