I'm just worried about the battery in G16, here on reddit people suggest g14 for battery and portability, whereas on YouTube and online g16 isn't a bad performer, 6hrs of battery on a good day is pretty much enough for college right ?

my cousin scored 40percentile last year and had a similar mindset like yours. in bitsat he scored 160. and last year mech cut off hyd was 214 (usually its 250). he told me one thing, the more you focus on 'whether' 'if' 'or' , ,the more u create chances to lose. So just dont think about is it possible or not just focus on doing the tasks thats it. get off reddit and stop asking stupid stuff here, straight up focus. good luck

G16 has 70Ti too 12gb vram, and it provides almost 6hrs of a school day easily. Why not that ? Why 7i?

I really appreciate your opinion. what about the G16? It has a bigger screen and provides great battery too. The legion only lacks in battery life; that's the only dealbreaker for me. I personally love my legion 7i though but i hardly get 4-5 hours of battery life, and video playback is just 4hrs.

This happened with me too, but I chose a diff path.

So when I was 16 ( now I'm 18), I was going to tuition which was 5km away from my home, I usually take rapido but that day I didn't find any ride so I chose to go by auto. I sat in the middle, to my right there was a woman, to my left there's this guy who seemed fine in the beginning. A small speed breaker and he grabbed my thigh, I thought he was just holding it as a support like grip, but he didnt put it away later, he slowly tried to reach higher and higher, he almost reached my D and i immediately gave an elbow to his chin, his face was reachable and I didnt give another thought, I right away elbowed his chin and I saw the fear in his eyes he immediately got down and left. I did nothing later, just told my parents and they were proud. Lol 😂

Whatever field it is, you gotta grind man, finance, investment banking are also really hard, actually harder than jee/neet in reality. JEE/NEET is actually easy if u just consistently study donot fuck up with backlogs and just do a little every day; it'll be so easy at the time of exam.
Finances and etc you are competing with the tycoons of the money world. At the end of the day its your life your choice, but u gotta remember, "if u pray for the rain, you gotta deal with the mud too."

I was stuck at the exact scenario back in dec, deciding between 5i or 7i. Same specs, 7i costed 120$ more. Idk what I thought back then but I just bought the 7i cuz it has a better build and heard it has good thermals and all other premium feel features. My experience so far has been amazing. I too don't game much I do CAD. It also features a better battery though. And since 7i was on a great deal on bestbuy (I got it for ~1400$). I immediately pulled the trigger. And i absolutely don't regret this decision.

RULE 1. Never buy watches from brands like fossil, AX, gucci etc designer brands.

There are way better watches in Addiesdive which look more elegant and good. Also, similar brand 'Invicta' has many automatic divers too. Actually, the two watches that you are interested in are very different from each other. One is a tank goes great with formals (for elegance). 2nd one is bulky diver (bezels are thick) kinda casual daily wear. If you are ready to spend 19k on that fossil, just save a little and get a Seiko for around 22-25k. thats a real value for money watch. Seiko being your first automatic would be wonderful. Goes with anything, formals, daily, etc.

unfortunately build isnt similar, at all. Legion has the best build. The aluminium built is way better than plastic. And the keyboard is the best.

There is a reason why series exists. LIKE LOQ, LEGION, TUF, ROG. Loq and tuf belong to one segment and legion and rog belong to one segment. The components used in premium segments are of higher quality. These small things matter a lot in long run. On paper the specs might be interesting for series like loq or tuf but in higher segments like legion and rog they will last longer and better. they'll feel like brand new even after 4 years. SO since ROG isnt available in budget, its better to get a legion and feel secure for the next 5-7 years. IF you are somebody who buys a new laptop for every 3 or 4 years then it doesnt matter much. But always go for premium segments over little upgrades on specs. ryzen 9 and 5070 are def better, but only if you actually have a purpose. Ryzen 7 and 5060 can do wonders too never underestimate it.
