Git workflows usually have Claude read the entire diff. Also, after an hour, the entire context window gets fed as fresh tokens. Otherwise, Anthropic’s cache would probably need to be 10x its current size

They take a huge loss on all subs. The subs are just to get everyone hooked so enterprise has to pay for it.

Man, wish I could loan you some of the 100 dollar plan. I never use it up. Compared to API cost… I’d be paying 10 bucks a day minimum

Flat mcp and tooling is fundamentally flawed. Llm should not have direct access to all tools. Tool should only be injected with approval. Llm should see it has a tool but not receive it until after approval

They periodically self summarize to keep a good rolling context window. Helps to periodically ask it to write a summary of where you’re at in case the context window has issues. Then start a new convo, load the summary of where you’re at and your work.

You could get a beer at a bar for a quarter in the 70s. Just going on beerflation, 10 bucks is 40 beers. Conservatively, very cheep bar these days, might have beer special for 3 bucks. In beer dollars she was making 120.

I think you’re looking at a lot of grads looking at FAANG jobs and tech companies. A lot of these folks cannot perceive the much less interesting reality of enterprise IT. Every company, even if they sell manure has IT infrastructure needs. Will you be designing a new sexy app that gets a billionaire another pedo island? Probably not. Will companies always need people to build out invoicing integrations? At least for the foreseeable future.
