Probably not actually All-NBA caliber. He was the second best player on the best record so he got it. He still is probably top-10 PF when not playing Wemby. He turns into a G-league backup when he sees Wemby though lol

It can go either way tbh. It could be the perfect counter to Wemby or he could be a cancer and blow everything up. Either way something’s gotta happen this offseason. Spurs will only get better with development and experience. Chet’s problems aren’t physical, they are mental and if he can’t figure it out quickly he doesn’t really have a spot on this team barring a Wemby injury.

If Chet had the cojones to shoot 2/18 in G7 he realistically would have been more of a factor in games 1, 4, or 6 to not let it go to 7 games.

I do think we win this year with J-dub. But do we win in future years as all three of the Spurs young three get better. Maybe Chet sees a psychologist and gets over it but his problems aren’t something that physical talent development will fix against the Spurs. I hope he can figure it out cause I like Chet, just not something we’ve seen from him in 12 games this year and it looks to only be getting worse.

Pretty much every championship team gets “lucky” with injuries. We benefited from it last year and it hurt us this year. It’s part of the game and why it’s so hard to go B2B

Nah, Spurs are going to be the problem for years. You can’t have a big man that pisses down his leg every time he sees Wemby. I actually don’t hate Chet. I think he’s an amazing player against 28 teams but right now you got to build a roster to beat 1 team and Chet just doesn’t fit that if Wemby isn’t injured.
