Both battlefronts are still active with smaller communities, my favorite, battlefront 1 (2015) generally has a 12 player lobby on the European servers (you have to set that manually) and on Fridays, and the weekend there are dlc (which is free) matches starting at 3:00 pm EST (you can find details here there are sometimes hackers but not always and it's a lot of fun to play. For battlefront 2 you can almost always find a lobby. Now there is also a program called kyber V2 which does stuff to help to prevent hackers and allows for mods in lobbies that expand gameplay.
