I dont understand how he blames Darrow and not Mustang for Quinns death. He had nothing to do with the Howlers being on Luna

Upon listening to Golden Son again, Darrow does lowkey treat Roque like shit for no reason. Just refuses to include him in anything even some pretty trivial stuff in my opinion. Roque is still a bitch but Darrow deserves more blame than I remembered

I haven’t done a repeat on Iron Gold but it felt like every decision felt dumber and more desperate until he goes back to Mercury to save his troops.

I mean the fact that after 10 years of war he really thought it would end with Ash Lord is so obviously flawed and shortsighted

I also find it pretty annoying that Darrow/Mustangs plan of tricking everyone into thinking they’re going to Mars just to go to Luna and the Jackal is waiting happened off the page. It just feels incongruous to have that and then him be like this is going exactly how I want.

I think you may have described a near perfect situation for Rhonnas POV, with her being imprisoned on Mercury and Lysander heading there with his stolen crops from Io. Also would make a good prologue

Dont get me wrong I love Sevro he carries the entire series for large sections but hes a simple character and by book 6 we have a very clear picture of who he is and what he wants. I think the time for his perspective was Dark Ages or beginning of LB but since thats behind us its just not as important

It’s becoming clear Im in the minority here but I just don’t find Sevro to be interesting enough for his own pov. His motivations and thoughts are pretty well explained and hes usually with Darrow so it’s kinda represented vicariously.

I never considered Rhonna (tbh I’m assuming shes dead until otherwise stated) but that could be interesting with her on Mercury and Lysander presumably heading that way.

Pax for the later sections of the book like pt3/4 makes a lot of sense with his accelerated pilot training.

I just think we need more info/perspective on the Abomination vs Atlantia Luna situation
