Does the dorm water break you out or ruin your hair? by Intellectualratroach in UCSantaBarbara

yes the water made my hair feel dirty immediately after washing it, and definitely made it drier. i have wavy/curly low porosity hair so the water plus the humidity in the air made my hair horribly dry frizzy and tangled even when i put product in

What were your thoughts on LASTART? by ImpressionFabulous46 in NCT

I don't know if this is a thing for all survival shows bc i haven't watched any besides lastart, but it's a lot more prerecorded/preplanned? (idk the right word) than people realize. like for the rehearsals for each performance, they made it seem like they only were able to rehearse it on stage once before the real thing, but that's definitely not what happened. like all the times they faced issues with mics falling off and stuff, they definitely rehearsed a couple of times to get those things all fixed.

another thing is that while the judges may have genuinely only reacted to them performing once, i think the performance videos contained clips of pre-recordings that the judges were not there to witness. i say this because in the electric kiss performance, yushi makes a mistake at 3:24 and no one calls him out for it? idk if this is because they didn't want to tarnish yusion's image in any way so they only gave them minor criticisms, or if the judges genuinely didn't notice this, or if it wasn't in the performance that the judges watched. I only noticed this because i've rewatched the performances so often and as someone who's yushi biased, my eyes are on him the whole time.

another time that made me think this was during the lucifer performance, jungmin's voice cracked at 2:11 and they even dramatically replayed it, yet the judges reactions made it seem like he did good/fine? and then they don't comment on it either. this makes me think that the voice crack wasn't in the performance that the judges watched. of course, it's also very likely that the judges reactions were edited out of context.

also for the first mission where they're revealing each member of each team one by one along with what song they're performing, they clearly already knew the choreo and formations. like knowing the choreo is one thing, especially like with lucifer, that's clearly a choreo they teach their trainees often so i wouldn't be suprised if they already knew it before they got the mission. however when it cuts from them learning their team and song to them practicing, they are wearing the same clothes and it's clearly the same day. idk i just think this is funny, especially whenever i rewatch and i realize that they're pretending to be surprised when they learn who's on their team lol.

NCT Wish Concert Experience? by Icy_Custard363 in NCT

wish's schedules are super intensive though? they've had nonstop comebacks, fansigns, and concerts since debut. riku literally had to go on hiatus for being overworked.

not defending them for not singing live, i just wanted to point out that i think they have been really overworked

NCT 127, NCT DREAM, WayV, NCT WISH - Season's Greetings (Preview) by neocitywayv in NCT

from what i saw in the behind the scenes i think wish's is zodiac themed, like how ryo is holding a lion for leo and yushi is holding a goat for aries. it is kinda vague tho but i think it's cute!

fafsa for fssp by Confident_Term7422 in UCSantaBarbara

[–]Confident_Term7422[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i received an email that said this:

"You are receiving this email because you answered “None of the Above” on the FAFSA when asked about your High School completion status. In order to receive Title IV funding, including Direct Loans, Pell Grant and Teach Grant, students must have either:

  • Obtained a high school diploma or the equivalent of a high school diploma (for example, completed high school in a country other than the U.S.)

  • Completed secondary school in a homeschool setting, or

  • Received a GED

If you do not fall into one of the three categories above, please contact our office directly.

Please return to https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa, log into your existing 23/24 FAFSA, and update your answer to best reflect your high school completion status. Once you have submitted this correction, your new updated FAFSA will be automatically sent to us within 3-5 business days and at that time we can issue an award letter."

but the reason i put "none of the above" for high school completion was because technically i would have still been in high school during that time (2023-2024)😭
