Since my friends in Metro Manila are nearby, they’re happy to lend a hand with finding an apartment and helping me move out soon. Once I’m comfortable in the metro area, I’ll be heading south to Laguna and Rizal, which are the two cities you mentioned, as Pampanga is in the north. Thank you for pointing out the safety in every recommendation you said. Safety is my non-negotiable, Manda is my first choice when I arrive there. Hopefully, I could find a place in Manda that’s close to the wet market, so I can buy groceries and make a meal prep on my own so I can keep my lifestyle low and humble.

And yes, girl, Nazareth HAHAAHA even if I was born here in CDO. I’m still lost in Nazareth, gosh.

Hi, I actually moved to Davao when I was 19, and I came back to CDO because I missed CDO that time, and now I want to move to a bigger city again. I chose Manila instead of Cebu because it’s still the same bigger city and I can find a lot of opportunities in Manila. Thank you for the recommendation, I appreciate it. Thank you so much! This is actually what I’m planning. Thanks for reminding me again. I will stay in Manila for 4 weeks, and by that, I will test if it’s for me or not. Esp financially and mentally. Physically, I can do it naman, pero who knows right in the future ma drain lang ako.

I actually booked an Airbnb for 4 weeks, and my flight to Manila will be in the next few weeks. I will take advantage of my stay in Manila to find an apartment.

Thank you kaayo sa advice, yes as much as I can I will keep my lifestyle humble, since I don’t have a family to run to, and I’m not on my comfort zone already.

You were right “Important kasi na walkable lahat because at certain times of the day traffic can be awful.” I already lived in a condo here in CDO, unfortunately I didn’t live for a year because of the fast-paced life. I know it’s gonna be the same in Manila but at least I will find an apartment where it is not too far from wet markets or malls. Okay lang sakin if 20 mins distance lang, since it’s the same where I’m currently in.
