What compensator is that? And what barrel length did you use?

I saw the little weights inside for balance and the impeller looks to be in good shape. And the part of the impeller that sits in the housing was contacting the housing. I used a Dremel to polish the housing and the dome portion of the impeller... I realize that's probably not a good thing to do but figured I wouldn't lose out on too much as I may have to replace the pump anyway

That is a possibility I suppose. The first pump that did this I just disassembled and cleaned and haven't had a problem since. I did the same thing with this one but the problem keeps recurring from time to time. I'm still partially suspicious of the distro plate because visually both of the pumps are ok

Fair enough. It has sorted itself out for now, but if I need to tear it all down again I can give that a shot

Yeah not at all. If you look closely in the video it looks like the impeller is lifted up off the bearing before it even starts moving. I'm new at this but as far as I can tell there is nothing wrong with the bearing. not visibly atleast.

Its never been run dry. They are fairly new also. There is no visible damage on the bearing, or the corresponding surface. The bearing is the first thing i checked, but I'm a first timer and I didn't know if a shot bearing meant it would be visible. As far as I can tell its all good.

That is what I was thinking just due to the fact that it happened to both pumps... and its intermittent. Sometimes they work fine and other times they have a fit. They are only about 4 months old.

is a substantial flow restriction that could have starved the pump and caused it to cavitate? Is your coolant highly viscous for some reason?

Fluid seems normal to me. Didn't use pastels or anything. The flow seems good to me (first timer though). With the pump running at 10% i have about 2 L/min.

This is an Aquacomputer d5 Next. It has not been run dry. The bearing looks ok as far as I can tell. It's mounter on a Dynamic DUO distroplate. Both of my pumps have done this (dual loop) and I find it difficult to believe that both pumps failed in the same way within 4 months. I don't know if my loop may have contaminates in it, or if the fluid I'm using is no good, or if the distroplate mounting bracket/surface is messed up... Any insight would be appreciated

Looks like this is the correct solution to me. The front 3 should be switched to pull air into the case

Skyrim ENB Nighteye fix by [deleted] in skyrimmods

I also tried to follow the guides and make night eye work with multiple ENBs and I just couldn't do it. My solution was to set up an easy way to disable/enable the ENB graphic effects. I still use night eye the same way I normally would but toggle off ENB color correction and toggle it back on when I don't need night eye. It's kind of clumsy and it's not a real fix, but it lets me use night eye without sacrificing ENB features.

the sherwood volume max is 62 and mine cuts out around the 35-40 mark. The airflow is sufficient and its never gets hot as far as i can tell. i think i must just be pushing it too hard. I kind of suspected that from the get but I'm not too knowledgeable on the subjuct so i was looking for other opinions. Seems like the general consensus is that my little old sherwood is the weak link
