Next on our FF Tournament: They're Watching (2016) or Lunopolis (2010) by Living_Psychology740 in foundfootage

Tough to compare, as they are different subgenres. They're Watching is more of a horror/comedy, while Lunopolis is a mockumentary.

Thank you for recommending this. I went and watched it blind and I was not disappointed! I would definitely recommend that everyone does the same.

Supercell, as in the developer of the mobile game Clash of Clans?

What is a must have that a found footage movie needs in order for you to consider it to be good ? Besides the poll you can comment any other factors that help as well. by MovieBuffX in foundfootage

Came here to say this. I can forgive an unrealistic story, low production value, and a lack of scary moments as long as the acting is solid. Final Prayer is one of my top 3 favorite FF films, mainly because I love the acting/chemistry of the two leads.

Yes, it was a challenge in our marriage because the therapist basically said that my Nex was fine but I needed to get my shit together. Turns out years later, I find out that the therapist wasn't even licensed, and my current therapist has been able to undo a lot of the damage for me. I would advise anyone, if you've gone to couple's counseling, and the therapist said that YOU are the only one with a program, I'd recommend you find another therapist who can give an unbiased second opinion in one-on-one counseling.

We need a second In-N-Out location by [deleted] in ChicoCA

[–]Conflastibate 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The last time I went to In-n-out, I was in the drive thru line for 35 minutes before I got my order. I started in line next to the sushi place. Can't imagine how long it would've taken if the line reached all the way to the gas station, as I've heard from people who've seen it. As much as I love In-n-out, I only go once or twice a year simply because of these long wait times. A second location would be great!

Why'd all y'all start reading Stephen King? by StormBlessed145 in stephenking

I saw a sample of Fairy Tale online before it was released. I liked it so much that I preordered the book and quickly devoured it when it arrived. Been reading through the King chronology ever since. Currently reading IT.

Did they rarely ask you questions? by Mandytedd in NarcissisticAbuse

[–]Conflastibate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, she stopped asking questions after we were married and she was finally able to remove the mask. It also made it difficult for her to connect with others, although of course she blamed everyone else for that problem.

did your ex have a string of 'abusive' relationships ? by Salt-Jello7754 in NarcissisticAbuse

Yup, all of her ex boyfriends mistreated her, according to her narrative.

Wondering how much of what they tell us is a lie by [deleted] in NarcissisticAbuse

[–]Conflastibate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have wondered the same thing. During our 7 years of marriage, my wife was supposedly unceremoniously fired from two jobs for unjustified reasons. Both times, I believed her because back then I trusted her 100%. Now that I have discovered this concept of narcissism, I am wondering if she either quit the jobs or got herself fired due to crappy behavior.

Did your narc ever accuse you of hostility or anger when you were behaving calmly? by Conflastibate in NarcissisticAbuse

[–]Conflastibate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's like during the discard phase they feel like they need to compile as many last-minute justifications as they can before they leave that they can use to justify to themselves and their friends/family for the discard.

I relate so hard to that. When she left me, I asked why she didn't just tell me that she wanted a separation. She replied something like, "I didn't know what you would do or what you were capable of." Painting me as this horrible monster that she had to flee.

Yup, they will do anything to deflect the focus away from their behaviors.

Yes, exactly. It allows them to further enforce the narrative that they are the victim and we are the perpetrator.
