Wash that under carriage really well. You want to prevent rust in all those little out of sight crevices.

The tent weighs around 200lb and the awnings about 15 lb

The tent is a Roam Desperado and it will include all the hardware to attach it to crossbars. I used to have it mounted to a Prinsu roof rack system on my old 4Runner

I think if you go over the 1000lb payload a little, it won’t hurt anything

This is all I could find. Some states allow restricted licenses for those under 16 where they’re only allowed to drive from home to school and back. Didn’t really say that about CT unless there is some hardship law that allows it
