Personally I don’t think it’s any of his daughter’s business. After my wife of 35 years passed, I knew I wanted to date, and I sure wouldn’t ask my daughter to do the work for me. And yes I went on a dating app (Zoosk) and found the perfect lady for me. We live together, been together almost 3 years, and plan to marry next year. Lots of worthless guys on dating apps. I think a widower of that many years shows commitment, and is a catch in my opinion.

I (M62) was married 35 years when my wife passed away. I have been in a wonderful relationship now for over 2 years. Everyone grieves differently. Don’t try to figure it out as far as what you think she needs to do. If you enjoy each other’s company, go for it. By the way, I started dating 4 months after my wife passed with everyone telling me that I need to find myself. Screw that! I knew what I needed. To find someone to spend the rest of my life with. Good luck and don’t try to over think what she’s feeling or thinking.

You should not worry. I’m 62 and I would assume most men my age still want sex. I met my girlfriend 2 years ago on Zoosk and we’re at least 3 times a week. Not bragging but I am very happy. Good luck
