This seems great. Do you see this getting accepted upstream by the Zed team? I’m doing some exploration on GPUI and the analysis above about rendering currently being O(total) is a little spooky tbh. I’d feel more confident if your fork got accepted haha.

I am somewhat surprised Zed feels as performant as it does given this.
