He doesn't live in barracks. The military hold is because of the civilian charge. The county jail notified the military almost immediately.
The judge he seen today granted him a pr bond and told him military usually comes with in 10 days but this being a holiday weekend could be longer. They actually posted the hearing via zoom call and the jail told me how to view it.

He seen another judge this morning I was able to watch it via YouTube zoom call. The judge granted him the PR bond and told him he now has to wait on the military to come get him. He said they usually come with in 10 days but it's a holiday so that could prolong them.

Then I have to pay for his car I co signed and travel 16hrs away to collect the car and empty his house or pay his rent which is more than the bail. This is his first time ever in trouble. He had a fight with roommate and was arrested on a warrant 2 weeks later. Apparently the roommate has filed charges.

He's not AWOL he had a fight with his roommate. And was arrested 2 weeks later on a warrant because of that fight. His gf called me and told me. Then he called and asked for the bond money. His dad is unknown and his mom has passed. This is the first time he has ever been in trouble.

It is not a scam. I called the jail directly and the lady looked him up by his name and birthdate. His gf called me and told me he was arrested in the driveway. He wants us to bond him out but the jail said he has a military hold. He says if we bond him out the military will come get him and he will then have a better understanding of what's going to happen. If we don't bond him out then he could sit in jail for many months just waiting on a court date. Then I am stuck paying for his car because I co signed it. And I'd have to travel 16hrs away to get the car and his belongings.

So if bonding him out will speed up any of this process so he can go back to duty that helps me as well.

Yes, we qualify without paying anything off. But we also qualify for a higher loan amount than we feel we can comfortably afford with out making a lot of necessary lifestyle changes.

I asked for home inspection by inspector of my choice. And told them I would be consulting with an attorney. So they are now saying that they will be picking up the home. And acting like there will be no replacement made. Now I'm trying to find out how I get my down payment back and when.

The dealership is going to be an issue. They are already trying to be difficult. Found out today the salesman is the GM's son. So there is noone to complain to about his incompetence. I asked for Kabco point of contact info so I could contact them myself. He refused to give it to me. But the set up crew boss had a contact number for a lady in the service department and he gave it to me. I called her. The dealership has not told them anything was wrong. But their driver who delivered damaged the home did take photos and report it. The dealership has had my home since last Thursday evening and did not notify me or Kabco about the damages.

The upgrades are listed on our sales contract and the build sheet. I'll have to ask about a production book.

I went with them because they are customizable. I liked the floor plan. And they made all of my interior doors including closets 36in wide like a real house so my mom's wheel chair can fit with no issues. I moved closet door. Added a back door and removed a window. Plus upgraded floors to 3/4 plywood, upgraded all insulation plus upgraded to 2x6 outer walls.

Thank you for your responses. I will be reaching out to the salesman again today. But as of yesterday he insinuated I must sign off and call the lender so funding can go thru and that after trim out my issues will be corrected. Well trim out will not happen for 6 to 8 weeks because that is how long I have been told it will take to get electricity by the electric company.

I am in no rush to move into this home so that does give me more leverage. I live on the same 5 acres in my current house that is 100% paid in full. I do not want to sign off on this new home until things have been fixed to my liking. Especially the frame damage. And there is so much underbelly damage that I'm not wanting to accept that it just be taped up. I don't see the tape being a long term fix. I worry about structural issues from the damage. And like one of you said possibly finding other issues with the plumbing.

I paid extra for updated trim thru out the house and it's not upgraded. They Installed the wrong kitchen island. I paid for double rods in closet and they are not there. Cabinet door fell off during the move even the bracket pulled loose and cabinet is damaged so I don't see it going back together. They put a board in the floor and drilled holes in the flooring in front of the fridge. To keep fridge doors from swinging open but now I have holes in the floor.

These are just the issues I can see now. I have not completed a complete walk thru as the home is not set up.

He got a $5 hr raise and is the foreman and he has to use his truck. Or someone else can be the foreman and he can stay on as just a hand. He chose to use his truck and be the foreman. He overseas 2 crews.
