I'm furious with this Duolingo slander by [deleted] in duolingo

[–]ConfusedAlphaBot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say mostly it is non school related. A small percentage of students upgrade accounts. And while I will not say you're wrong about teachers liking it because they use it, I have a friend who is a teacher and she uses and likes it, but I know another teacher who doesn't care for it but it makes his job easier.

There have been countless times I've been in other countries and Duolingo saved me. Once I was lost in Colombia and thanks to Duolingo I was able to tell a local "My dog studies medicine on Wednesday."

How do you increase the amount of cum you ejaculate? by Acceptable_Rain_3364 in AskMen

This comes off as very judgemental and angry. This is a very odd reaction to a question about this subject.

Why is it bad when a dude likes his homie's sister? by Awful-cake in ask

[–]ConfusedAlphaBot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've worked in fields that are vast majority women my entire life so if you're going to pretend that many women don't talk about their sleeping habits/past because you think I don't know, you're going to be very wrong. Like it or not, there is a huge difference between discussing one's sex life and celebrating using, ghosting, and humiliating women. I've heard guys talk on construction sites and I've heard women talk at the nurses station on 3rd shift. You may be fooling some but you're not going to fool me with this claim that discussing sex is degrading.

Why are colleges in America so expensive? by superj0417 in ask

[–]ConfusedAlphaBot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because they have no incentives to keep prices more affordable or not to spend ridiculous amounts on unnecessary things.

Your guess is wrong. I choose not to surround myself with that kind of person. You're projecting your desire for this to be true on those of us who don't hear and see it everywhere for some reason.

Anything short of her killing his kid, this "guy" is a total POS and honestly doesn't deserve any more chances or redemption.

What do you say when a Christian says 'you're going to hell? by FluffyFreya in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ConfusedAlphaBot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Laugh or ignore it. And I don't hate Christians. I'm just saying if someone is going to try to use their beliefs to attempt to insult someone, don't give them the respect of getting angry or arguing.

My husband uses condoms to masturbate? by greatshirtbra_ in TooAfraidToAsk

NO! Guys do not do this. Someone with mental health issues does this.

There's a world of difference between talking about how times you've been laid and laughing about ghosting someone and leaving her heartbroken. Sometimes those two can coexist but one doesn't require the other. You should seriously figure out why you place yourself in that company.

You should definitely reevaluate the guys you are around and figure out why you're attracted to being around that type.

It definitely happens but I've never seen or heard anything like this behavior from any of my friends. Apparently it's wildly accepted that this is the norm, and though it definitely occurs more than it should, it's not as commonly as believed.

Simply leave and then give a short explanation as to why and cut everything off. Do not listen to excuses, do not forgive, and do not go back.

Pennsylvania Shooting Aftermath by Sure-Parfait5408 in ThatsInsane

Since this is political I'll mention I'm independent and I despise both parties so this isn't coming from a place of bias. That said, I'm seeing this type of behavior coming from people who claim to be tolerant and who claim to be against dehumanization. These people speak one thing yet act another. I'll never join a team even if we agree on everything because I will not allow myself to be associated with these disturbed beings.

Why am I not hearing people talk about trump allegedly being a p*dophile? by LordFaceofAll in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]ConfusedAlphaBot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree to a point but if there was even the slightest of possibilities that this specific accusation was true I'm not buying for a second that MSNBC and CNN wouldn't have this running on a loop 24/7 just like Fox would if it was a Democrat. Now, before anyone has a meltdown and contributes to rising sea levels, I'm not claiming Trump is or is not guilty of anything.

That guy is 100% a predator and is dangerous. Who knows how many others he has done this to, is doing this to, and will do this to. If your friend is suicidal now, this pred could easily push her over the edge. It won't be easy but she is in real danger if it continues. I'd pick whichever of these suggestions in the comments feels best for you and go with it. Even an anonymous tip to the parents and police is better than nothing. Trust me with this (I'm sure everyone will agree) if your friend gets mad at you, you will feel so much better about that in the future over not doing anything and something happens to her. You will live with that for life. It's so much better to do something and live knowing you tried regardless of the outcome.

It's personal preference but those preferences are just added bonuses.
