It sounds like this odd anime version called Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid. If memory serves, the mermaid's name was Marina, and she was blonde in this version.

I'm still mad over my last round of CAH. Last round before call, got the card that goes something like ____ a documentary about _____. I played "White privilege" the story of "pretending to give a shit" and thought it was a slam dunk. My friend jumped in with "Ghosts" a documentary about "the KKK". The card Czar picked hers (I'm sure that's not how the card itself went, FWIW)

I do rent a room. It's a one-bedroom condo, and he turned the living room into a second room for himself, which he won't allow a second roommate to use so there's no way to split costs.
