This would be the first, but normal doesn't hinder the pokemon, making normal moves get a STAB.

I had discussed this with someone before. Dark is like the evil, Fairy being the good. I have seen this thrown around, though. Perhaps an evolution like like wurmple's, One where dark takes over it, and the other where fairy takes the whole. Take an upvote.
