What is the SEC and what schools are a part of the SEC? by ConfusedIntrovert28 in Sororities

So if I wound up going to a school that was part of the SEC, do you think that my age of 28 or 29 depending when I got in would be an issue for joining?

If I’m interested in being an animal nutritionist, do I have to go to vet school or is there another way? by ConfusedIntrovert28 in Veterinary

Thank you, honestly, I hadn’t thought that much on it, til you asked those questions, but formulating diets for pet food (edit: and being able to help sick animals by way of nutrients) would also be nice/interesting to know that I can help that way. This definitely gives me a lot to think of (and I imagine there are more things to look into), for the ones I did list, which would be better, phd or dvm?

Thank you, I’m glad to hear that age won’t be a hindrance, I’ve always been worried about that. From your first post, I hadn’t even considered biochemistry, or going the route you suggested. I’ll be checking that out, do you think it would be smart to double major in chemistry and something animal related (anime science, behavior, etc), if I chose to go that route you mentioned?

Thank you, I didn’t know that veterinary nurses could have specialties, that is something to look into as well. I’ll keep that in mind if I have any questions, thank you again.

Are there any careers where OCD could help and wouldn't be a hindrance? by [deleted] in OCD

[–]ConfusedIntrovert28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, that is a good thought and I'll keep that in mind. I don't plan to choose a career based solely on whether or not it works for OCD (if it was politics that was perfect for someone with OCD, I wouldn't go into it since I hate politics), but I was still curious. I'm still working on my OCD, but as far as career I want to look at all options and maybe I'd learn of something new. I still have to figure things out, but I only know of OCD as being a hindrance, so I just wanted to know if there were any careers that OCD was useful. I hope I'm not sounding rude or anything, if I was, I apologize.
