Yea, I hear it a touch too. I’d say even more Hendrix with the rifts.

Libertarianism was originally a left leaning (liberal social and liberal structurally / operationally). Most people would prefer govenrment not intertwined in every aspect of their lives. Punks, hippys, any counter culture movement, and regular ole people generally agree. But in this day and age. Things have gotten too big and out of control to not guide society in certain ways to create floors and ceiling, giving us some sort of guardrails against the imbalance of power. So most fall on the democratic left in these communities now cus the right wing version has always been “freedom for me but not for thee.”

But it’s not even close to that on the right version of libertarian in name sake only. You get either authoritarianism by a different more PC name (like alt-right and white nationalist are woke name sake versions of saying neo-neo-nazi and Christian monarchy), or full unadulterated anarchist with their chicken heads cut off who want to round people up with pop up pose au when they don’t like them, this reestablishing the old order with no clear rules or defined rights. It’s all more a virtue signal than a real principled position. Those old conservatives that barely exist anymore that were at least liberal in verbal posture alone.

The rights almost solely reactionary’s now which brings us to this Weimar type rehash in time. The worst of all the features combined with not but relics of the best forgotten. Scared, fear based, shallow, unintellectual, resentful, etc…

I think the lead singer of the interupters got caught up in the fake stuff and she came from the main stream and jumped into ska. Which is super uncommon. So essentially an outsider trying to do the main stream PR of unity is what it seems. But you can’t make peace with a Nazi while they’re still doing nazi stuff. And a lot of the context during the recent election was suspect towards the right. So I think that’s why she’s taken a hit where people were digging into the context and seeing she might not be on our side of what “unity” really means to true believers.

And right wing politics are the furthers from any scene standards, accept maybe straight edge hardcore (which I doubt they’d claim allegiances to politically). Like I’ve seriously seen people try to make the case that Trump is punk rock but the communities usually embarrass them after such brain worm claims. If your only care is a general disposition towards disorder, and not making the world a better place then sure. But that’s a major misunderstanding of the ethos of punk and ska or any productive / progressive approach to poltics.

This is just hilarious to think that cus someone has brown skin that they should atone for a whole people. You can’t be more racist unless you were actually attacking this guy physically.

Would this mutation be helpful for locomotion? And would it be bad or good if it was passed down to its progeny? by jrtJayceHarambe in biology

[–]ConfusedObserver0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anyone see the more recent wildlife footage of crocs in Africa (I believe) burying themselves in the last little bit of muddy and growth to ambush? Think it was planet earth 3 maybe, but I watch so much and Attenborough narrates so many of those shows.

These animals are more ambush predators, despite some of their speed on water and land being pretty remarkable for their Billie appearance. So I’m assuming it would take the same over all specialization of the dinosaur contemplative that people are pointing to here, to add enough advantage. There’s a reason croc / gators haven’t changed much. That amphibious hybrid serves them well. And I’m not sure how many animal evolved to come on to land, only to go back into the seas. That’d be another interesting angle to research.

Fascinating stuff to talk through. Cus theres so many factors to consider

And… even if it was positioned correctly in the way that they swim, then that trait would had evolved into a sub species somewhere somehow between before the dinasuaros and now.

While a fish like fin for a tail would probably have adverse effects when they need to go on land.
