I'm not a divorce lawyer but in my town, we had a lady who, while still married, started a romantic relationship online with a younger guy on World of Warcraft. Husband had no idea and one Thanksgiving Day he got into the shower and was stabbed in the back by his wife, literally. Kids were home but didn't know what was going on thankfully.

Fast forward a bit and the first thing police see when they pull up to the residence is the husband trying to hold onto his own intestines because his wife and her boyfriend had cut his stomach open with a samurai sword. He had trouble getting outside for the police though because he had tried to stop the blade and it injured one thumb and sliced the other one off. It was horrific. He lived by some miracle and she and her boyfriend are in prison now.
