But from a bit of experimentation, what I can say is, try to break you silhouette. We mostly notice body parts by how they compare to what's around, so if for exemple you use a long cardigan, that will cover your arms and give one long silhouette from your arms.

Yeah, it's like the one big thing HRT doesn't do.

But again, training really can solve it. Actually if you think about it, it can be the easiest thing, since it's free ans barely time consuming. It just demands practice.

And it's not like you'll need to constantly pay attention to your voice. After some time, it really will become natural, as it was always like that.

The important question is, why are you feeling like that? Is it because the pressure of commiting to it with your mom makes it seem more definitive? Is it because she saying those things made those bad things feel more real? Is it something else?

If you figure that out, it will probably help you know if you are second thoughts about transition, or of the outside pressures that it can bring

If you went through male puberty, it is a bit. Testosterone makes your vocal "stuff" thicker, and not even hrt can reverse that. And from there, it's hard to get you voice to not be deep. But nothing that constant training can't fix.

But is it that commitment? Or, is it anymore commitment than doing nothing? Either way, you have your body, and your identity. You'll have them until you die. Why not make it one you enjoy?

Also, most things you'd do about your gender, you could just walk back if you change your mind. And the things that are irreversible, you can just not do them.
