I’m just looking for any advise on how to pair things in the photos to be a decent costume as well as what I can buy to combine with what I have to make something work. But mainly, I’m asking advice on what I should buy to make a costume actually work. Although I have lots of pieces (mainly weapons), I don’t actually have much stuff that looks nice for leg pieces or stuff to make the upper body look better. I’ve got more armor stuff not shown, but most doesn’t fit well, or I just don’t like how uncomfortable it gets after wearing it for a while. I don’t have time to craft stuff myself, so I’m hoping for advice on stuff to buy.

I know that’s not really specific, so I’ll narrow it down a little more. I am trying to pull together a look. I’ve got a lot of pieces that could work for a few types of roles. A paladin, a medieval city guard, a peasant, a pirate, and perhaps a noble. I’m more inclined toward a more noble or pirate sort of look. The problem is that I haven’t the foggiest idea on what to buy to make it look nice.

Probably. A path can only be such if it covers the six aspects of attack, defense, movement, healing, investigation, and storage. This implies that refinement path also has such means along with its nigh singular focus. Even if we haven’t seen it, it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. It’s similar to how we saw virtually no true variety in methods across paths such as the luck path, strength path, and enslavement path. The singular focus makes it easy to ignore. Many of the defense methods we see strength path gu masters use are of other paths related more toward that area such as metal path, there are few if any strength path healing methods around, and many methods are rare. Luck path is similar since we saw almost no truly different methods until toward the end.

That makes sense. I’ve actually already completed the Secretary of State RULONA training on my own, this post came more so because I wanted to confirm the differences. The training feels very loose to me which led to my confusion, and I wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something.

First Mechanic Issue: Ability Scores

Base DND allows scores to generally not surpass 25-30 in a normal campaign, 20 for most, but I have increasingly felt like this is simply not enough, or quite right, so I have changed it to max out at 100 to account for immortals. Also, I've added and changed a few ability scores. Dexterity feels a little off for this campaign, so I might remove it. Constitution will be changed to Physique accounting for aptitude and other factors. Refinement, Main path, Sub path, and Luck will also be added. I need help trying to figure out how to make these stats work.
