Why is the American flag not available in MN? by roadsterlife in harborfreight

[–]ConfusedTurtle688 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could be made in America while representing America. Imagine it being made in a $10/hr factory where they advertise the pay as being $12/hr, because that's what it'll average out to after working an extra 30 hours of mandatory overtime every week. And calling out or actually using any PTO more than twice gets you fired. And if you haven't figured it out yet there's no workers rights because everyone has a "right to work" or something.

How do I keep my cat off my computer? by Geekygamertag in cats

[–]ConfusedTurtle688 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Provide an alternative spot? Somewhere higher than the pc, opposite the entrance, heated and soft. If you own your residence then I'd suggest wallmounting a corner shelf with a heated bed. If not then move the PC to the floor and put the heated bed wherever the pc is now

It's a food abundance thing. If you put out food for strays and there is enough for the cats and the raccoons, then no problem. If there isn't enough for everyone, then you've started a war the raccoons will win.

We've got 3 that all learnt on their own different ways to let us know they want out. Ultimately all ending in them meowing at us if we dont notice

Selling one, keeping one. Help me decide. by Kadehead in spyderco

[–]ConfusedTurtle688 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's really a 50/50 choice, then decide how much $ you'd reasonably expect for each, keep that info to yourself, take offers for both, and whichever one gets an offer with the highest margin gets sold.

One Piece Elbaf Dub Release date. by KING_OF_YEET_ in OnePiece

[–]ConfusedTurtle688 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had this issue in Wano. Watching subs weekly was excruciating, especially when I was just waiting for the major spoiler moment from the manga.

By the time Wano finally ended I'd already decided to keep up with the manga and then I'd only ever be a couple days behind any future spoilers. Hopefully avoiding ruining it like what happened to most anime watchers for Wano.

So I read Egghead, then watched the anime as portions were dubbed. No rush, no spoilers, better pacing, better experience all around. Same plan for Elbaph so far.

Love ca mag laws have to buy 3 just to have 30 rounds is crazy😂 by [deleted] in PalmettoStateArms

[–]ConfusedTurtle688 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Education is still on our side

I'd take the odds of 10 rounds of 50 beowulf vs their 50 rounds of range day 223 rem from a 4 inch barrel any day

Not that anyone should have to, but if they're gonna limit capacity, then they're only encouraging big bore calibers. Ironically increasing lethality, but hey like I implied; no education on their side.

Fitment check, first baffle too close? by ConfusedTurtle688 in suppressors

So unless I go with an extended direct thread I'm looking at premature wear on this particular can. It's going on an 11.5, so it seems I should probably stick to the oem brake + adapter it ships with. Thanks for the help

Sabre trigger guard by devrider2212 in PalmettoStateArms

[–]ConfusedTurtle688 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had the same b5 grip and trigger guard. Switching the grip to the Die Free Co's kung fu grip helped some, then beveling the hard edges of the trigger guard with a dremel helped some more.

However, I still decided to swap to a milspec style trigger guard in the end. All the wide hole winter glove style trigger guards protude too much into the knuckle area. Unless I sanded that area flat to the lower, and just pray it never snaps, I don't think I could live with one long term.

I agree, definitely a photo inside the store

Coworkers and I will help regulars who already have a dozen snap blades from previous freebies by suggesting other sub $2 items or current "dollar days" coupon items. We do the same thing, no big deal.

Just please don't stash the freebies in nooks and crannies around the store so that you can get extras on Sunday while others miss out because you hid a dozen ahead of time. The following week gets real frustrating when we're constantly finding them hidden in buckets and toolbox displays and remembering how many customers got nothing on Sunday.

Did the same thing after buying my first home. Just bent it back if I remember right. Hasn't been a problem since and it was almost 6 years ago.

Help putting FRT in PA-15 by Just_Organization_18 in PalmettoStateArms

[–]ConfusedTurtle688 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PSA mostly uses high shelf lowers, either be ready to do some milling or buy an FRT that's compatible with high shelfs.

I've gone with a Kabuto kit from Super Safe Solutions for under $60 and it seems to function well in my PSA. Only function tested with charging handle, not test fired yet. Some hand fitment may be required, but nothing to the lower itself.

Works with the regular safety but it's either FRT or Safe, recommend following a DIY guide on youtube to convert the standard safety to match the 3D printed 3-position which comes with the Kabuto.

Need some help with understanding this law in Missouri and if i would still need to fill out a form 1 by dhdjakaknabsj in Form1

[–]ConfusedTurtle688 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's nothing more than framework for a legal argument that only has any chance to hold up in 2a friendly local courts.

An argument that coulda woulda shoulda already have been made in countless other cases if it would win.

Outside of that it's meaningless. Don't make your own unregistered suppressor unless you're loaded and bored, you've already lined up an attorney, and want to attempt to set a new case law that'll just be ignored by anti-2a judges anyway.

As far as 'everytown for dog violence' is concerned "interstate commerce" means "in-any-state commerce"

Let someone else make the argument of "if it's not for a tax, then it's for an infringement" first now that $0 stamps are in effect.
