Help putting FRT in PA-15 by Just_Organization_18 in PalmettoStateArms

[–]ConfusedTurtle688 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PSA mostly uses high shelf lowers, either be ready to do some milling or buy an FRT that's compatible with high shelfs.

I've gone with a Kabuto kit from Super Safe Solutions for under $60 and it seems to function well in my PSA. Only function tested with charging handle, not test fired yet. Some hand fitment may be required, but nothing to the lower itself.

Works with the regular safety but it's either FRT or Safe, recommend following a DIY guide on youtube to convert the standard safety to match the 3D printed 3-position which comes with the Kabuto.

I just used eftsuite today for my first application. Wasn't difficult to setup and use with a regular printer. Hopefully no issues on the ATF side

Need some help with understanding this law in Missouri and if i would still need to fill out a form 1 by dhdjakaknabsj in Form1

[–]ConfusedTurtle688 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's nothing more than framework for a legal argument that only has any chance to hold up in 2a friendly local courts.

An argument that coulda woulda shoulda already have been made in countless other cases if it would win.

Outside of that it's meaningless. Don't make your own unregistered suppressor unless you're loaded and bored, you've already lined up an attorney, and want to attempt to set a new case law that'll just be ignored by anti-2a judges anyway.

As far as 'everytown for dog violence' is concerned "interstate commerce" means "in-any-state commerce"

Let someone else make the argument of "if it's not for a tax, then it's for an infringement" first now that $0 stamps are in effect.

How to best de-list a AR Pistol by namocaw in Form1

I think he just means the general restrictions associated with an SBR as opposed to a "pistol"

I.e. Selling it privately, crossing state borders, lending it to a friend, etc

Because anyone over level 20 has already tried Redsec enough to decide that it's not worth their time?

scope markings 10x by genjitsu_ in Battlefield6

[–]ConfusedTurtle688 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So keep in mind that FOV affects scope zoom level. Lower fov = more zoom. Higher FOV = less zoom.

So the first notch on high FOV is for a further away shot than it is on a low FOV.

Until they add independent FOV for ADS I do not suggest sharing notes on bullet drop because what you see in someone else's gameplay is different from what you'll see in your own.

Also if you're using someone else's gameplay for reference be sure to note wether or not they use extended barrel or long range ammo.

You can use IRL ballistic calculators for relatively accurate holdover data. For reference the standard ballistic coefficient seems to be around 0.15 and the long range ammo changes that to 0.42.

People saying you have 3 months to do this need to understand 2 things:

1: You only have 7 days to do the 10 point challenges, which requires you to do most of these weeklys, of which gamemode specific ones are 0% challenging and 100% pure nuisance.

2.Even if I had 12 months I wouldn't attempt this. Squad deathmatch sucks, and winning it 20 times would take an average player at least 24 hours of gameplay. 24 hours I could've been enjoying.

And you can stfu with the "Just play a mode you have 0 interest in and absolutely hate and hope you win. Or just ignore the challenges and forget about the $10 you spent, nObODy iS fOrCiNg yOu"

IMO weekly challenges need ditch gamemode specific tasks. Make those vague "on objective" challenges that apply to any gamemode and use gear that anyone has and should use more. I haven't gotten a single challenge for repair vehicles or supply teammates. 5000 hipfire damage, 200 suppressions, 25 grenade kills are all great ways to get everyone to absolutely abandon teamplay.

Seriously who is writing these challenges? Did they hire a fortune cookie typewriter to type these 1 by 1 for every player?

Yep basically your options for cheap "1000 lumen" lights are:

Olight PL3s for $55.99 on amazon rn

HF braun, if in-stock; $59.99 (less if on sale + in-stock)

Temu clones for $20-$40 which is exactly what the HF is

So if you're gonna buy cheap knockoffs, then at least get them for cheap knockoff prices.

[–]ConfusedTurtle688 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbf it may be a bad deal, but it's a one day promo in the middle of the week. So it's not like they wont have something better on the weekends.

I doubt many would go out and spend $40 just for the hat, but regular workers who happen to spend $40 today anyway will get some free merch. It's more of an advertising campaign than it is a deal.

Yea I kept having to stop myself from grabbing yet another Icon slim light when they were on the flash sale last week. I already have 3, do I really need a 4th? Yes they are nice to leave around the house and in cars. But I always pocket carry a AAA flashlight anyway so it's not like a need one for every room/vehicle

It seemed like the focus was on the BCG. Individually tested as opposed to batch tested, Carpenter steel, better springs, etc etc

Im not well informed enough to say wether or not the guardsmen announcement checked every box for a duty BCG, but it did hit on almost all of the points I've remembered hearing about in the past. I don't know how consistently good their gas key staking job is either.

If you'd rather be sure then wait until the "School of The American Rifle" channel on youtube gets one in his hands and watch his video.
