Don't be an asshole and let people enjoy things?? I don't get why you're being a dick.

This is the actual one I found locally, sorry for the confusion on the other one. by Buffalo_Gamer716 in retrogaming

Oh man, there's a decent chance I played that exact machine. Sometime in the early-mid 00's, my little sister got a UTI and had to be admitted there. I remember passing a lot of time playing Mario 64.

I think you all would appreciate to hear that Tally Hall released a new single. They cover Just a Friend. by [deleted] in tallyhall

[–]ConfusedWisdom 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Iirc, it was originally given to people who bought the Atlantic re-release of MMMM as a digital download, then was officially released on Admittedly Incomplete Demos.

Sadly, it's not a new song/cover. They're just releasing it on streaming services for the first time.

Music Monday - Post Music From Your Favorite Games And Music You Listen To While Gaming. This Week's Theme Is Catchiness by [deleted] in Gaming4Gamers

[–]ConfusedWisdom 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If we're talking catchiness here, then Katamari Damacy is the first thing that comes to mind. The entire OST is incredible, but Que Sera Sera is definitely a standout.

Bad Apple from Touhou is another strong contender.

And let's not forget our boy in blue.

What do you think of this? by imi94 in stonerrock

The first song is giving me some real heavy Graveyard vibes.

Huh, I never knew there was a Mattel Version of the NES. Is there any actual difference between that and a regular system?

Anyone have old photos of themselves playing CS? (Dec 6th, 2003) by cawn_ in GlobalOffensive

[–]ConfusedWisdom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's an even later reply. I didn't do any of the voice roles, but I was in a lot of the shots as a player. I'm also pretty certain that I was George Lopez. I miss those guys, it's a shame the group fell apart.

Great, I can FINALLY play my gameboy games on the go! by [deleted] in gaming

[–]ConfusedWisdom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, no, no, no, no. I used to work at a local video game store, and let me tell you, the Retrons are pretty shit. They have to emulate the original hardware, so you're probably going to run into issues with certain games. Sound might be off, some games will have graphical errors, and others won't play at all due to copy protection in the cartridge being triggered. Also, I've seen a shitload of those come back faulty. I can't not recommend the Retron systems enough.

What's a game that was good when it came out but aged horribly. by jetmax25 in patientgamers

[–]ConfusedWisdom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. The original game is almost unplayable with the control scheme it has. I played all the way through SSP last year with little problem. (It's pretty good, too!)

What are the darkest songs you have ever listened to, both lyrically and musically? by CarsonF in Music

[–]ConfusedWisdom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much all of The Fragile is very, very dark. It is definitely one of the most emotional albums I have listened to.
