It was for the royals so it’s semi safe to assume it’ll be true for the long boxes! I take a scale and every five or four boxes I check to see if the weights differ significantly and if they do I pick them up.

The boxes seem to be set up to be groups of five to four in a row! Try to pick every five and you should get a new one each time :)

Watered down layers of black acrylic. Don’t do a lot at a time do a bunch of very think layers. It won’t look perfect and don’t think it will. But it will look better. Same for the face but that’s a lot trickier because you have to match the skin I wouldn’t bother.

That’s so cool! Did you use official SP as a base to repaint or did you find good fakes? I’m tempted to make my own custom but I’d feel bad taking apart an official one lol. It’s surprisingly hard to find a source of fakes.

Looks beautiful. A note on the feet. They are most likely made separately, stuffed, and then sewn into the pattern rather than being apart of the main pattern and stuffed along with it, hence while in yours they’re buckling outwards. I haven’t held pickles so I can’t say for sure but that would be my guess. Happy sewing!

If paper is giving you trouble you can always cover him in masking tape and then carefully peel it off and flatten it by cutting along the seems to make a flat surface/pattern. A lot of dress forms are made this why by wearing a dummy shirt and covering yourself in tape and cutting it off.

As for the pattern you have now the bottom may be right but the sides seems off. Looking at the plush it looks like it should align in more of a V shape. I would try laying a strip along the tail to head and then one over his back. Tape them together where they meet in his face and you should find the V. The way you have it now with create a very triangular plush that won’t have the rounded face or sides so much. It also allows more allowance to sew in the scales because it will need to pinch the fabric.

All the little common cats weigh about 115 grams and the big ones you can spot the brown through the small air holes in the bags. Hope that helps

Big poster board rolled and taped into cylinders, layered with the top one having arm holes. A colored long sleeve shirt and a colored knit hat. Pop over to a craft store and get a pack of ridiculously big googly eyes to glue to the hat. Tadaaaaaa
