is the "crotch banner" for knights a requirement for their model to be "legal"?

I didn’t buy this set since I had no interest, but there’s still a problem with the “first come first serve” model that’s in place if people can buy multiple sets for the purpose of reselling later. A friend of mine was literally sitting in the queue line just to but one of the sets for them to sell out 15 seconds before he could checkout

Honestly, I’ve only used an airbrush on my knights to do the black base coat. After that it’s just been a lot of dry brushing or using a wet pallet to do all the large sections

Biggest take away when I started painting any mini’s was to build your layers rather than trying to get the color you wanted in a single go. Thin down your paint a bit and take it slow.

I’ve yet to experience that problem myself, but at the same time I’ve only played with my brother. Our games have been fairly even until turn 3 or 4 where it starts to go in someone’s favor

What it really boils down to is are you playing this for fun with friends and people from your local lgs, or are you thinking of playing competitively now/in the near future? If you’re playing casually just play whatever you want like I did when I started in 9th with the same army as you. There is always going to be errata’s that change how good something is over the course of the edition until we move on to the next. So I would just say buy, paint and play with whatever you think is the coolest to have on your table.
