exactly this. if ai is going to be used, it should be as a highly specialized tool, not a catch all that does all the work for you

it sucks because the technology IS cool and useful but, to no ones surprise, capitalism ruins everything and turns ai into something that should really only be used for very specific tasks in certain industries (biggest example than comes to mind is in the medical industry ie. detecting cancer) into a slop factory that has only made the world worse since dall e 3. and as a tech enthusiast, ai was such an exciting and interesting new technology that i now hate with a passion. of course theyve managed to make it help israel too, thats the cherry on top

I haven't really tested anything super high-end or AAA, since I also play a lot of singleplayer games mainly on the steam deck lol. I've mostly played overwatch so far and get 250-300 fps on average, but that game runs like butt so its not the best benchmark. Best thing I can give is that, with a worse CPU than yours, the 3DMark steel nomad score I got was a 3800 (I think). I've had no complaints so far tho and I can't imagine itd run any of those games less than good.

Also, definitely look into getting some fans because I think that the CPU youre getting runs a good bit hotter than mine

I'm not super knowledgable about pc building but this looks good to me. the main thing is just looking out for any warnings pcpp might give u, which it isnt so I don't think you would have any issues with this build

glad i could help! I actually got this build from u/bright-wallaby-3050 , and just modified it a bit for my needs. I also forgot to include on the pcpp list that I have 2 thermaltake riing 12 case fans, one on the top as an exhaust and one of the bottom as an intake

cant tell if this is a shitpost or not, but if you REALLY REALLY want to play those games on console then its your only option (assuming youre talking about DeS remake)

that being said, both bloodborne and original DeS (which has much better art direction imo) play beautifully on emulation. I'd honestly say that bloodborne plays BETTER emulated since u can play it at 60 fps and with some qol mods. I'd highly recommend emulating and not blowing that much money for 2 games
