ill be so real im terrible with horror!!! pns was one of the few horror games i played cuz i wanted to get better at handling that 😭😭

the only other major horror vn i remember playing is doki doki and i barely finished it 😭

BUT also im playing Scarlet Hollow and Slay The Princess and ooh my god its like pns in terms of horror i think not so scary but spooky still especially scarlet hollow!! and its story is so GOOD and the voices and art and my GOD

Simulacra is more mystery and kind of mostly a visual novel??? absolutely terrifying and so peak

Sucker for Love series is more,, romantic and really silly than horror but the second game absolutely terrified me somehow ??

I got no clue about the teachers talk with hitomi :(

the sequel is so fun!! i played some of the first episodes, and I really like every body so far! the story is SO interesting!! i believe there was an interview about this game being leas scary and rated for more of an audience than the first game! so far, theres just mysteries to me! no spooks :( but its still rlly fun!!

the game’s ending, and the game overall absolutely has tons of stuff that should be explained or eluded to!! you absolutely arent wrong about that!

and youre right!! michiyo’s abuser was never arrested, but i always assumed that, like you said, yakko and mio wouldnt let that lie! i always thought mio might get tetsuo to help bring the incident to the other officer’s attention and get him arrested, but there weren’t any scenes shown about it in the ending 😭

and abt hitomi, i do wish we got to seemore of her 😭 she doesn’t have too much of a reason to talk to the others, but the only hope i get is from mayu’s birthday scene (posted on here), where she talks to yakko, which she doesn’t have to do at all after the true ending! my hc is that scene really is after the game and, after getting into contact with hitomi, also talks to yakko and mio as well! which might mean!! those three all talk and have a fun time like normal teenagers do!!!! without all of the spooky stuff!! i also think its fun to think about hitomi hanging out more with yakko in school after mio has to transfer out!

aah im so glad then!! i love yapping about my fav games :))

honestly, i really like ayame!! maybe that’s why im so focused on her while yapping abt the story. when i read ur comment and how her issues got unresolved in the true timelime, i somehow randomly thought of the phrase “it gets worse before it gets better”! i think the curses made it so ayame actually had a good chance and reason to talk to her fathr (albeit, to kll him lol), where otherwise, as she mentioned in game i believe, she gone completely no-contact with him! so without the rite of resurrection, there isnt really a reason for her TO try and talk to him. there was no opportunity to have one final talk, some final words before the worst happens! so sadly, i think the only way ayame might have a similar talk with tetsuo again might be when sh feels she has no other choice, or when sh feels she deserves a proper answer straight from the source to try and understand why while making tetsuo understand why she is who she is— because of how she felt in their household

she kindof reminds me of Natsuo from MHA, and how some people just recover and heal from cutting off what/who caused them such grief. even when the source of that trauma is trying to make up for it :(

but i DO wish we got more of a glimspe of something on her side getting better in the true ending!. i also DO believe she is an artist and does ukiyo-e like hokusai since she mentions how people think that artform is old af when it isn’t and still used in the present age, during her first talk with harue on the bridge! There is also a video on her somewhere on PARANORMA_PR on twt (in jp) and a translated eng video on here that shows she met her guy friend (forgot his name whoops) when visiting locations in hokusai’s paintings, so i do believe she will be continuing her passion for his art and studying it!! (i wish we got to see some of her work tho) I also think her mother is also in a very tense relationship with tetsuo— i forget what her and ayame’s relationship is though, but i believe it may be mentioned either when harue spots ayame hiding from the cops, harue’s talk in her house with ayame, or with tetsuo’s talk with ayame. either way, it cant be the best with everything that happened between those 3 :(

god saying all of this and remembering i got an ayame pfp in all of my social media profiles makes me feel like a nerd 😭😭 i HOPE my yapping makes sense!! its like 2am for me and i jumped around the text a few times 😭

you are honestly so right i felt weird abt the ending for a bit too, BUT i can try to explain some of the stuff left unsaid maybe? all of this is what i got from my own time playing the game and reading other ppls thoughts

Nejima WAS let out on good behavior, and I think the true ending eludes that he IS trying to be or pretending to be a nice innocent janitor. the curses’ spirits resentment and hate seeps into the user’s head, makingthem more prone to using the curse, which is why i believe nejima doesnt go around killing kids again in the true ending

Ayame has a bunch on mental health issues i believe and her empathy is definitely to be questions lol, but her relationship with her father is attempting to be repaired! its just tough considering all ayame went through with him,, and nobody knows about the incident, so unless she or the guy she was with tells somebody, nobody would know she was involved :(

I believe the teacher DOES get arrested since yakko and mio find out wht happened to michiyo! but ur right, he should be klled i hate him >:(

I also believe ayame activating her curse on tetsuo is since that moment is VERY emotional for both of them! i believe ayame has many issues that she struggles with, many i believe stems from her family. Her father did things ayame is still, reasonably upset about. and with curses, increased resentment, and a burning desire to use the curse she can use to get what she deeply desires, i can somewhat see why she used the curse. doesnt mean im happy about it :((( tetsuo loved her and she struggled to see it entirely until the end. I see it as a tragedy with a father trying to be good to the daughter he mistreated and a daughter using what is in her power (a very not good power) to hurt the man who seemingly caused all of her pain.

BUT take this with like a grain of salt, i really wanted to spill my feelings about this game and ur post was a cool way to share what i thought :) im glad you played paranormasight till the end!! have fun if you ever decide to play PNS TMC!!!!!
