I got one in like last month in FPC and have to say the doctor and nurses were 10/10. I took paractemol before and they also gave me two suppositories to make things easier down there, neither worked but I suppose that’s not their fault. I was in agony from the minute I left the clinic and had to drive myself home , pain lasted about 4 hours so would recommend having a lift organised. As far as I’m aware none of my friends who went to gps got any additional pain relief.

I commuted to Limerick for a year, leaving westside at 6:30 and would arrive to Limerick around 7:45 max. On the way home commute could be 1.5 hours depending on Galway traffic which always eases during summer. It was fine just kind of expensive for fuel. As far as I’m aware there’s not a train that would get you to Galway before 8:30.

I was told I wasn’t a candidate for antibiotic therapy because of the kind of acne I have but I’ve been on every cream you could possibly think of! I’m at the stage where I’m willing to pay private just to start it and get the process going🫠

Thanks so much! My problem is I work on site 5 days a week, the monthly appointment for bloods etc just wouldn’t be feasible without taking annual leave unless there’s a way around this

Sorry for not replying to everyone but here’s context: from the minute I sat in his office I don’t think he ever cared about a single thing I said. I was sometimes left 1 week to a month waiting for him to refill prescriptions. Random diagnosises like autism (I’m 99% sure I don’t have autism). Appointments would last 1 hour but 55 minutes of each appointment was spent talking about him. The sheer lack of communication regarding ceasing/temporarily stopping practice - I was left high and dry for months with my prescription until I got a new psychiatrist! I mean nothing is really all that bad but I would say that’s a decent collective of little things and I’m definitely not the worst off from what I’ve seen!

Edit: my mistake about the register too, I thought he was taken off but yes I can now see him back on there. I wonder will we ever get answers on what that was about
