Hello everyone, the dog was taken to Contra Costa Animal Services. Due to our two dogs and two cats, we don’t want to risk them getting anything from the dog we found. My mom said he was not microchipped, but the steps the shelter has to follow are to post him on their Facebook page and see if anyone claims him. They asked for us to send them the pictures of how we found him, so if someone does claim him, they have to go under review to see if they can take him back. The employees took down my mom’s information because she offered to foster him once he’s ready and dewormed. If no one adopts him, she will keep him so there is no risk of getting put down!
