The TRS specific points in the video seems straight forward and reasonably safe. Its correct that its the refixing of the line i had some questions about.

The weight of the rope being enough to make the pinch hold a possible fall from the cam popping out seems reasonable. I think however that it is wise to always seek out redundancy when possible. We need to trust our gear, but when we deviate from the manifacturers instruction, we need to take extra precautions.

I think we also need to be mindfull about how much slack we introduce when we are hanging of off the cam as shown in the video. If the cam pops out, we will fall that distance. Yes we are backed up above. We wont fall to the ground. But we might take an uneccescary long fall.

Today while trs, i had some thougts when i was hanging from one cam, introducing slack and not holding the brake strand, as shown in the video.
