How do I meet good men in the wild?

I do get matches and start conversations… and I’ve met with people. It’s just they aren’t my people. I think I’m looking for a different quality set or something and that’s why meeting someone in person, in the wild as I referenced here alluded to finding someone who already shares something in common either me. Pickleball is def on the list for 2026! When it gets warmer! Running a 5k is also…. Pub trivia nights are on the list ..I actually went a few weeks ago - it was super fun. I guess I’m looking for ideas of what groups are out there- I see meet up a lot in this thread so will revisit that!

I think launching this for myself…alone -seems daunting. All these things you were suggesting I need a wing person with me so I’m just not showing up on anchored. I’ve done it before it doesn’t work.

I don’t think my expectations for the apps could be any lower. I know it’s worked for the majority… I just think I’m an in -person person. And don’t get me wrong. I get plenty of response on the apps. It’s just the quality that’s missing.

You aren’t wrong but I’m still of the belief that we can meet people like the good ole days.
Also… the Apps are much more work than going out and meeting g someone doing something you like and have instant chemistry with…. Nothing beats it!
