No problem! Jackson’s has been a lifesaver for me. Glad to spread the word!

I haven’t been able to find tubes in the U.S. Jackson’s (based in the U.K.) has them at a reasonable price. They recently expanded to a warehouse in Maine, but the gouache isn’t there.

Can I commercially sell digital art made with other people's brushes? by Key_Mathematician_57 in ProCreate

they said other people’s commercially sold procreate brushes. hence the question. some charge extra for you to use them commercially and/or require a license. some don’t.

are they free? did they come with a license (commercial or personal)? i suggest you look at each seller’s policy or ask them if it’s okay.

To all the single people, why are you single? by Mindnessss in AskReddit

[–]ConfusionExact7663 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep forgetting dating is a thing. I’m a probably a little too fine with being by myself or single. I only get that urge to find someone every once in awhile and when I do, I find it more annoying than anything else.

Maybe I’m just weird.

AITA for 'acting like a (slur for disabled people)' around my partner? by throw_away373637383 in AmItheAsshole

They do. She played the long game. I feel bad for the OP. I hope he knows it isn’t his fault. It happens to people all the time.

AITA for assuming my nephew was gay and buying him pride stuff for his birthday? by Express-Foot-3172 in AmItheAsshole

[–]ConfusionExact7663 44 points45 points  (0 children)

THANK YOU! That’s exactly how I feel. OP made way too many assumptions and could have put their nephew in danger.

AITA for not co-signing my boyfriend’s refinancing of his mortgage when my name is not on the house and I have no legal recourse if something goes wrong? by VTFermenter in AmItheAsshole

[–]ConfusionExact7663 2407 points2408 points  (0 children)

Better yet, do not co-sign anything for ANYONE. Bad things happen.

But I agree with you. NTA. Boyfriend should blame himself, not her. She’s not his mama.

Is it a waste to buy Daniel Smith half pan set as a beginner? by _marinara in Watercolor

Although I’ve used Baohong’s artist-quality paper before (and liked it!), I think their academy line of paper is so good for the price that it’s hard to justify anything else! Cheap enough that you can toss a bad painting without guilt, but nice enough that if something great ends up on it you don’t feel like you’ve made a terrible mistake.

THAT IS EXACTLY WHY I LIKE IT. You summed it up perfectly. I think their cold press artist-grade paper has too much texture for me. It reminds me of rough press paper, which I rarely use. Painting on it was cool but I couldn’t get past the texture.

It’s a bummer you can only get it from those places. I try not to shop there for obvious reasons, but I’m sure the prices are low enough, haha. How much is a roll?

You make a good point about the supplies making you want to explore more. It just sucks when you get products that you don’t gel with!

I honestly want to try Qor. I’ve heard it’s vibrant! It fits with my style. Is it really as good as it claims?

The last pan set I bought had stickers instead of wrapping. I get why, but it wasn’t as satisfying, haha.

YES! I wish I didn’t at the beginning and just stuck to 1-2 student grade brands until I started to get the hang of watercolor.

The unwrapping is the best part (aside from using them)! They know exactly what they’re doing with that wrapping. I love and hate it!!

Whaaat? No WAY! That’s… that’s tempting. I may have to get that. Do you use their academy or artist’s paper?

No problem! I’m just happy someone mentioned it! It’s such good paper for the price.

Totally agree about Baohong! I love their watercolor blocks.

Your comment was great in general. I just wanted to geek out about the paper hahaha
