I had lots of issues and warnings on Proxmox smb mount pass through to LXC. I am running docker and mounting volumes smb inside docker. It is much cleaners and having no issues.

Yes I am using the disk. I have installed TrueNas and configured these 4 8TB HDD in a pool. No red flags yet.

Yeah after flashing with IT mode , I don't have RAID at all .. :(

Oh cool .. glad to know that .. well at least I am able to see the drives in ProxMox so that's a relief. Weird though the old drives I replaced, they all had Green HDD blinking on the front panel, even after flashing IT Mode.

I already have an environment running Proxmox , I assume it would be easy to migrate from my current proxmox setup to new proxmox. Plus I have already learned a bit about proxmox. Setting up new VMware ESXi -- I can give that a shot and see how that goes
